In my experience with reputable and regulated brokers, the standard procedure typically involves providing identity verification documents such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, and potentially bank account details that match your registration information. These measures are in place to comply with anti-money laundering laws and protect both the broker and client. However, for Islamic Financial Securities, the lack of regulatory oversight and transparency signals considerable risk. Personally, I would be concerned about providing sensitive information without clear, enforced data protection policies. The absence of a demo account, and the fact that only their proprietary app is available, leaves even fewer cues about their practices. For me, unless this broker supplies explicit withdrawal requirements in writing and can demonstrate secure handling of client documents, I would be cautious and consider alternatives with proven regulatory compliance before proceeding.
