As someone who’s been trading and researching brokers for years, assessing regulation is always my very first step, especially in markets as sensitive as forex. In the case of CEZ Hungary, after reviewing the available information, I found there is no indication that they are regulated by any recognized financial authority. This absence of regulation is very important to me; it means that there are no external bodies overseeing their operations, enforcing adherence to financial standards, or providing investor protection. For me, a lack of regulatory oversight is a critical risk factor, particularly when it comes to the safety of funds and the recourse available in case of disputes. CEZ Hungary does not hold a license from authorities such as the FCA, ASIC, or any equivalent EU regulatory body. In fact, several warning signs highlighted—such as “suspicious regulatory license,” “suspicious scope of business,” and a regulatory score of zero—made me even more cautious. Ultimately, for my own capital and peace of mind, I avoid brokers without robust, transparent regulation. I believe traders should exercise significant caution with any unregulated entity, since the lack of oversight can expose clients to risks that are simply unacceptable by my standards.
