Based on my thorough review of LME as an independent trader, I see no evidence that LME offers ECN or raw spread account types, and therefore, the question of commission per lot does not directly apply. From my experience, brokers that operate genuine ECN or raw spread models will clearly publish details about their account structures, including commissions, platform access, and regulatory protections. LME, according to all available details, focuses exclusively on metals trading via their proprietary platforms (LMEselect, open outcry via the Ring, and a telephone market). Notably, there is no mention of conventional forex, indices, commodities, stocks, or cryptocurrencies—nor of mainstream forex trading platforms like MT4 or MT5. Furthermore, a critical risk factor for me is LME’s complete lack of valid regulatory oversight. In my years of trading, I have learned that the absence of regulation significantly increases operational risk, especially when it also affects transparency about fees and commissions. WikiFX also highlights a high-risk rating, suspicious regulatory status, and at least one negative user complaint relating to account funding and transparency. Based on this cautious assessment, I would not expect LME to provide transparent, standardized commission schedules typical of regulated ECN brokers, and I strongly recommend approaching with extreme caution.
