Based on my direct experience and thorough research, BitMart is a trading platform that focuses exclusively on cryptocurrencies. From what I’ve observed, the platform offers spot trading and futures trading on over 1,700 different cryptocurrencies, which is quite a wide selection compared to many other exchanges. The futures trading section allows access to more than 100 crypto pairs, with the possibility of using leverage up to 100x. However, it’s important to emphasize that BitMart does not provide access to traditional financial instruments like forex, stocks, indices, or commodities. Its entire scope is digital assets—specifically, cryptocurrencies. This limited range of tradable instruments is a critical factor to consider, especially for those like me who sometimes prefer to diversify beyond crypto or to hedge with more traditional markets. The lack of regulatory oversight and the presence of high risk warnings on BitMart also mean that, even within the crypto segment, extra care and risk control are essential. In my view, while BitMart is suited for users who want broad exposure within the crypto space, it is not an all-in-one platform if you are looking to trade forex, stocks, indices, or commodities. This limitation is something I weigh heavily before choosing a primary trading venue.
