For each trade I make on Hoxsin Bussan, the standard commission is 172.5 yen per transaction. For smaller contracts or contracts nearing expiration, the commission is reduced to 40.5 yen per transaction. Personally, I find this tiered commission structure to be quite reasonable, especially for smaller contracts. It allows me to reduce my trading costs when trading less liquid or smaller contracts. However, as the commission structure is based on the size of the contract, I do need to keep track of each contract’s size and expiration date to ensure that I understand the cost of each trade. Overall, I think the commission fees are competitive and in line with industry standards for commodity futures trading.
