From my experience assessing brokers, especially those positioned as equity and share trading providers like MGM, the question of specific commission structures is vital for risk management and overall trading strategy. Looking at what’s publicly available, there is a notable lack of transparency from MGM regarding their commission fees, including whether they charge per lot for ECN or so-called raw spread accounts. In fact, I could not find any published information about spreads, account types, or fee models, which is highly unusual for a professional broker. What concerns me most, as someone who values regulatory oversight and clear fee disclosures, is that MGM operates without any recognized financial regulation. This is not just a technicality; without regulatory standards, there is no obligation for MGM to follow industry best practices for pricing clarity or fund protection. The absence of demo accounts and fee details only compounds the uncertainty. While MGM does highlight several platforms and trading services, these features do not address my fundamental need for cost transparency or the presence of robust consumer protections. For traders like me, this means any commission-related assumptions about ECN or raw spread offerings would be speculative. Ultimately, I advise extreme caution; in my own due diligence process, I would not proceed without full disclosure of account and commission structures.
