With Errante, their account offerings and fee transparency play a key role in my evaluation of their reliability and suitability. Based on the latest information, Errante provides multiple live account types, including options with raw or near-zero spreads. Typically, brokers who offer accounts with spreads starting from zero (often called "ECN" or raw spread accounts) will charge a commission per lot, since their revenue on those accounts depends on the commission rather than the spread. For Errante, the Tailor Made account type is specified to offer spreads "from 0 pips." Whenever I see such a structure, I expect a commission to be applied per lot traded—this is standard industry practice to offset the lack of spread markup. Although Errante clearly states that the Standard account has zero commissions, and other account types have lower spreads with minimum deposits increasing accordingly, they do indicate that commission fees apply on some account types, particularly those with the tightest spreads. Knowing this upfront is essential for me in effective risk and cost management within my trading.
