Based on my thorough review and experience with DGCX, I found that it does not provide a swap-free (Islamic) account option in the way most retail forex brokers do. The structure of DGCX is unique—it operates as an institutional-level futures exchange rather than a retail-focused forex or CFD broker. Instead of traditional overnight swap rates, which are often an area of concern for those seeking Shariah-compliant trading, DGCX charges a significant penalty for overnight funds settlement shortages. This penalty is a hefty 36% per annum, and it can even be doubled under certain circumstances. In my view, this method is unlike the typical approach in retail brokers where swap-free or Islamic options are clearly defined and designed to accommodate religious requirements for interest-free trading. While DGCX does list a "Shariah Spot Gold Contract," that seems to be a specialized product and does not equate to a platform-wide Islamic or swap-free account offering. For me, the absence of explicit swap-free account provisions raises concerns for traders who require strict Shariah compliance. With the high operational barriers and a lack of clear regulatory oversight as noted in my research, I would advise anyone seeking a genuine Islamic trading environment to consider these factors very cautiously before engaging with DGCX.
