As a trader who prioritizes transparency and fee structure clarity, I find this lack of detail concerning, particularly when considering a broker for serious trading activity. Channel Capital is indeed regulated by ASIC in Australia and operates using a Straight Through Processing (STP) model, which often relates to competitive pricing and, in some cases, commission-based structures. However, the services they list—incubation, distribution and marketing, responsible entity and investment operations, as well as offshore governance—are more focused on institutional and operational support rather than straightforward retail forex trading. This makes it more complex to determine if they actually provide the familiar ECN or raw spread retail accounts that typically charge per-lot commissions. In my experience, trustworthy brokers openly publish their fee structure, and without this information, I remain cautious. If precise commission rates or detailed account types are essential to your strategy, I would advise reaching out to their customer support, but also considering alternative brokers that commit to greater fee transparency. For me, lack of clarity in core trading costs is always a potential red flag.
