While it's reassuring that tobu-sec is regulated by Japan’s FSA—a major regulatory authority—I find the lack of transparent information around their trading platform concerning. For me, platform stability and dependability are critical, especially when trading time-sensitive products, and tobu-sec currently does not disclose what platform, if any, they use for order execution. Moreover, customer service with tobu-sec seems confined to weekday office hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM JST), which could be restrictive for anyone needing urgent assistance outside Japanese business hours. There’s a provided telephone number, but no mention of dedicated online chat, email response times, or multilingual support. This somewhat limited service model raises caution for me; quick, reliable help is essential when managing positions or dealing with account concerns. Altogether, while I appreciate their regulatory standing and transparency in fee structures, I'd prefer more clarity and availability in both customer support and platform reliability before fully entrusting significant capital. For traders who, like me, value robust technological support and accessible help, these are important factors to weigh carefully.
