From my experience as a forex trader, a critical factor when evaluating a broker is clarity and competitiveness around overnight financing charges, also known as swap fees. Unfortunately, in the case of TradeSmart, I couldn't locate any transparent details regarding their swap fee structure in their available documentation. This stands in stark contrast to other established brokers, which typically make such charges readily visible, either directly on trading platforms or within product disclosure statements. This lack of transparency is a concern for me. Maintaining cost control is essential in my trading strategy, especially for positions held overnight where cumulative swap fees can have a significant impact on overall profitability. Without readily available and reliable information, I cannot accurately compare TradeSmart’s fees to those of better-known, regulated brokers. The absence of clear disclosures makes cost prediction—and thus, risk management—much more difficult. Given TradeSmart’s unregulated status and unclear fee structure, I am extremely cautious. In my view, not knowing the overnight financing costs puts traders at a marked disadvantage versus using a broker with transparent, published rates. For responsible trading—especially with instruments carrying leverage—I prefer brokers who openly provide all relevant cost information so I can make informed, prudent decisions.
