PWM Japan Securities is officially regulated in Japan, overseen by the Financial Services Agency (FSA). The firm holds a Retail Forex License under license number 関東財務局長（金商）第50号. Being regulated by the FSA means the company is subject to strict government standards regarding operations, customer funds, and compliance. However, I also pay close attention to warning indicators beyond the existence of a license. While the FSA regulation should in theory offer a higher degree of client protection compared to unregulated firms, I noticed PWM Japan Securities is flagged for high potential risk and, during site inspections, WikiFX reportedly found no physical office at their listed address. This sort of discrepancy raises red flags for me, regardless of regulation. For me, regulatory status is just one layer of due diligence. Even with an FSA license, persistent user complaints about withdrawals and unusual deposit demands cannot be overlooked. This reminds me to remain cautious and to verify not just the regulatory status but also the firm’s transparency and reputation before considering any engagement with such brokers.
