This means that while E.SUN Securities once operated under the supervision of the Taipei Exchange, it no longer benefits from regulatory oversight. In the past, being regulated by the Taipei Exchange would have provided a level of protection for investors, ensuring that the company adhered to certain standards and practices. However, since the revocation of its license, investors and traders may now face increased risks. The revocation suggests that E.SUN Securities may have failed to meet the necessary regulatory requirements, which raises concerns about the transparency, accountability, and overall safety of using their services. Without the backing of a regulatory body, traders are more exposed to potential financial risks, including fraud, mismanagement, or disputes without proper recourse. As a cautious investor, this lack of regulation would be a significant deterrent for me, as I prioritize financial security and legal protections when choosing a trading platform.
