SCMC was incorporated on December 10, 1990 as Fountain Securities Limited and underwent a restructuring exercise that culminated in the transformation of the business and the changing of its name in September 2013. The company claims that it is licensed and regulated by the Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and it is a dealing member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (“NSE”).
