The official website of Petrades is currently unavailable, so we relied on information from other websites to gather a general idea of this broker.

General Information

Petrades is a Netherland-based online broker, owned by a company called PEtrades Ltd, which is said to be regulated by the International Financial Services Commission (IFSC) in Belize and to be headquartered in Amsterdam. The Amsterdam address is unknown to us, but we did check the registers of the IFSC in Belize and we did not find any trace of PEtrades Ltd there.

Market Instruments

With Petrades, its offer include some 40 currency pairs and lots of CFDs on stocks, indices, ETFs, commodities, metals, and crypto coins.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit amount at Petrades is 100 USD, and they claim on their website that micro lots are allowed for trading.

Leverage

Leverage on Petrades can reach a maximum of 1:2000, which is absurdly high. Leveraged trading comes with significant risks, especially for individuals who are inexperienced. There may be greater profits, but there may also be greater losses, often exceeding the invested funds.

Trading Platforms Available

Petrades claims to offer some of the most powerful trading platforms on the market, including MetaTrader4, MetaTrader5, cTrader, and a proprietary web-based platform called PE Trader. This was not the case, however, and we're even doubtful that Petrades offers a trading platform at all.

Deposit & Withdrawal

Petrades reports that it accepts VISA, MasterCard, China Union Pay, and several e-wallets and payment systems like SEPA and WebMoney. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case, since Petrades only appears to accept bitcoins.
