Reasons for Field Survey

Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.

Field Survey Process

This time, the field survey team visited MRG LTD as planned. Its publicly listed office address is 571 RSU Tower, 9th Floor, Unit 903, Sukhumvit Soi 31, Sukhumvit Road, Klongton-Nua, Wattana, Bangkok, 10110, Thailand.

The field survey team traveled to the aforementioned address and successfully arrived at the RSU Tower. Because there is no dedicated corporate campus at this address, the “”corporate campus and street environment“” were recorded as “”non-existent“” based on the actual scene. The field survey team successfully captured a panoramic view of the building, confirming that it is a standard office building with office properties.

The surveyors had unimpeded access to the building lobby and discovered signs (both electronic and physical) displaying information about the occupants. A thorough review of the signs revealed no reference to “”MRG LTD“” or any office information corresponding to Unit 903 on the 9th floor. Nor was the company's logo found, either internally or externally.

To further verify, the surveyors attempted to proceed to the alleged Unit 903 on the 9th floor. However, due to a lack of clear floor-to-ceiling directions and the building staff's inability to confirm MRG LTD's registration, they were unable to reach the specific unit and confirm its location. On-site investigation revealed that the floor was actually a shared office space with multiple units rented out, but no lease or occupancy records for MRG LTD could be found through the shared office operator.
Due to the open nature of shared offices and the lack of clear information, the inspection team was unable to enter the alleged “”MRG LTD office area“” or photograph the reception desk bearing the company logo. Information related to MRG LTD, such as the “”internal office environment,“” “”number of rooms,“” and “”number of workstations,“” was unverifiable. The “”No Entry“” notice was actually due to the company's “”unable to confirm its presence within the shared space.“”

Therefore, the inspection confirmed that the trading company, MRG LTD, did not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the MRG LTD as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
