Abstract:ACY Securities was recognized for its charitable contributions at the 2022 Annual Gala of the Australian Chinese United Business Associated Federation Salvation Army Charity Dinner.
ACY Securities was recognized for its charitable contributions at the 2022 Annual Gala of the Australian Chinese United Business Associated Federation Salvation Army Charity Dinner.
As part of its charitable endeavors, ACY Securities contributed $22,888 to the Salvation Army NSW.
“It was a tremendous pleasure to receive the Certificate of Appreciation from the Salvation Army in NSW, acknowledging the ongoing assistance we at ACY Securities have offered to help make a good effect on our local communities,” said Ashley Jessen, Chief Operating Officer at ACY Securities. “ACY is very thankful for the Salvation Army's relentless work, which has and continues to touch the lives of countless individuals in Australia and across the world.”
During his address to a lively ballroom of about 350 people, Jessen mentioned family friends whose home in Broadwater, near Woodburn, had been flooded to the second floor, as had many others along the Richmond River (Northern NSW). As they had to rebuild their house and lives, the assistance of family, friends and the Salvos let them see the light at the end of the tunnel.
“Sitting in the garden of those family friends and seeing the destruction caused by the floods was a real eye-opener, and a testament to the Salvos who were on the ground aiding everyone in need during the recent NSW floods,” Jessen continued.
During the 2022 Annual Gala of the Australian China United Business Association Federation Salvation Army Sydney Charity Dinner, Miriam Gluyas, Divisional Commander for the Salvation Army in NSW, presented the Certificate of Appreciation.
Winson Cao, co-founder and Chief Risk Officer of ACY Securities, was acknowledged twice by Miriam Gluyas, Deputy Mayor Brendon Zhu, The Hon. Dr. Helen Sham-Ho, Councillor Nancy Liu, Councillor Nathan Tilbury, and a slew of other luminaries for his ongoing contributions to their organizations.
The Gala event was a night of networking and a meeting in the spirit of giving.
Mr. Cao joined the VIPs on stage at the end of the event to perform a rendition of 'Tomorrow Will Be Brighter,' hoping to motivate everyone to have a better future.
