Sophia Salim Joins ADSS as Chief Product & Innovation Officer
Abstract:Abu Dhabi-based financial services provider, ADSS announced today that the company has appointed Sophia Salim, a former Software Engineer at Microsoft, as the Chief Product & Innovation Officer.

Sophia has nearly 17 years of experience in the global corporate sector.
ADSS aims to accelerate its expansion through the recent appointment.
In the past 12 months, the company announced several key senior-level appointments to enhance its retail and institutional securities brokerage. In her extensive professional career of nearly 17 years, Sophia worked with Microsoft and Bykea.
During her time at Microsoft, the newly appointed Chief Product and Innovation Officer served as a Software Engineer. Additionally, she co-founded Ropazi, a San Francisco-based commerce platform start-up that was supported by StartX, an accelerator for Stanford-affiliated entrepreneurs.
“I am excited to be joining ADSS amid its rapid and transformational growth. As we continue to differentiate ourselves in a competitive marketplace, we will seek ways to bring our clients innovative and best-in-class experiences and propositions that meet their evolving needs. Executive Team
According to ADSS, the latest appointment of Sophia is an integral part of the companys strategy for the expansion of its executive team. The financial services provider highlighted that women now represent over 30% of the senior leadership team of ADSS. Founded in 2010, ADSS expanded its product offering and services substantially in the past few years. The company is planning to facilitate its growth in the securities brokerage business in London and the Middle East.
Theo Papathanasiou, the Chief Client Officer at ADSS, said: “ADSS is at an exciting point of its journey as we build upon our leading position in the Middle East and expand our operations in key global markets. We are driving our new growth strategy forward at an accelerated pace and welcome Sophia to the team as we continue to embed key principles of innovation into our organization.”
